Hello all you Fashionistas/os! My name is Allison and I am so excited to be continuing my second semester with CollegeFashionista. I currently attend the University of Missouri-Columbia, but am home for the summer in St. Louis! I plan on pursuing a major in journalism with a concentration on strategic communications, and possibly a minor in either marketing or textile and apparel management. Someday I would love to work in the public relations department at a high fashion magazine like Vogue—total dream job!
When it comes to choosing my day-to-day outfits, I tend to stick to a simple, yet sophisticated style. My go-to summer outfit would definitely be a flowy top with cuffed jeans and a pair of nude sandals. Pair it with gold statement jewelry and my Kendra Scott Elisa necklace and off I go!
As far as shopping goes, you can always find me looking for new clothes to add to my wardrobe at Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, J.Crew, Free People, lululemon or Marshalls. If I am ever MIA, you can guess that I am most likely at the nearest Marshalls or T.J.Maxx. Whenever my calendar is open, so is my wallet, which means I am probably out browsing the racks!
Summer is always a fun time to try out new styles and trends, and explore what’s new and upcoming in the fashion world.
