Hello there fellow Fashionistas/os!
My name is Allison Dangos and I am a freshman at the University of Missouri-Columbia, also known as Mizzou. This will be my first semester writing for CollegeFashionista and I am beyond excited! Fashion blogs are one of my daily must-reads, and I am currently inspired by Caitlin Covington, Katey McFarlan and McKenna Bleu. Whenever I am not at school, I am back home in Saint Louis. I am currently attending the world-renowned Journalism school pursuing a degree in strategic communications with a minor in textile and apparel management. My dream job is to work in the PR department for a high fashion magazine in New York some day. I am very invested in pursuing my goals and accomplishing my biggest dreams.
I am your typical bubbly, outgoing college girl that loves to show off her inner Fashionista. I classify my style as classy, yet chic and classic (that’s a lot of C’s). You can find me showing off my latest J.Crew, Nordstrom or lululemon purchases wherever I go!
Whenever I’m not at the mall or picking out my next fabulous outfit, you can find me working as a Barretender (front desk staff) at Pure Barre. Pure Barre is a full body workout using a ballet barre and is easily one of my obsessions. Since I am a dancer, this is such a unique addition to my life. Cute yoga clothes, anyone?
Fashion has been a part of my life since I started dressing up as a child and has followed me through the years. Whether I’m wearing a glamorous outfit to an event or my yoga getup to work, I never forget my style! That is my most important rule of thumb.
