Hello fashion lovers! My full name is Amanda, but I prefer to be called Mandy. I am going to be a senior this year at Muhlenberg College and I could not be more excited! I am a Media and Communications major with a Sociology minor. Some of my favorite things are shopping (duh), makeup, going to the beach, designer bags and making YouTube videos. I believe that the only makeup you truly need is quality foundation and clump free mascara.
My true love and passion for fashion developed at a very young age. I remember when I was in kindergarten I would constantly playing dress up with one of my best childhood friends. I would always grab the brightest lipstick and the dress with the most pink. Clearly I was meant to be a girly girl. From there I was introduced to many brands and designers, some of which I still wear. Of course I had that phase where I would be constantly reading Teen Vogue, Seventeen or Cosmopolitan for inspiration.
My style has evolved over the years and is still ever changing. My current fashion choices can be anywhere between preppy to boho and even edgy on rare occasions when I am feeling fierce. Some of my favorite items of fashion include statement necklaces, nice handbags, scarves, sweaters, leggings, jeans and boots. As seen in the pictures above I am wearing a grey cardigan from Forever21, distressed jeans from Francesca’s and gray suede booties from DSW (Designer Shoe Warehouse).
I have always loved that style is a form of expression and that no person’s style is identical to another. I also love that I have the freedom to incorporate multiple styles into my wardrobe. I am so excited to be able to capture my campus’s fashion trends and see if there are any overlaps in style choices. I arguably think that fall is the best season for fashion, however summer comes in a close second. Hope you enjoy my future posts on this page!
