Hello Fashionistas/os! My name is Amanda Ellis and I am a freshman fashion merchandising student at Kent State University in Ohio. I have loved fashion ever since I was little and I’m also really into music, art, makeup and traveling! Everything about me relates back to these things and make up who I am. I think I have a quite unique personality and that often reflects through my style and clothing choices. Obviously fashion is a way to express yourself in a visual way, and I definitely like to take advantage of that.
I’m so stoked to take all of my fashion classes this semester and finally start studying what I love the most. I really hope to study away in Italy and New York at some point in my college career and I also hope to share those experiences with you all through my outfit posts on College Fashionista!
I would describe my personal style as classic with a very feminine twist. I love wearing colors and patterns, and I love to experiment with my outfits while also incorporating current trends. Right now I am in the process of building up my dream wardrobe with lots of eccentric pieces mixed with lots of simple and chic pieces! I like to think of myself as a fashion addict. It’s always been what I am most passionate about.
I’m beyond excited to be working with CollegeFashionista this semester and to have the opportunity to write posts and share my content with my fellow fashion lovers across the country! Being a Style Guru is going to be an incredible opportunity and I can’t wait to obsess over fashion and spread some love with all of you amazing readers!
