I am five feet of spunk, high heels, lipstick and day dreams. Just like Coco Chanel, I feel “Beauty begins with the moment you decide to be yourself.” Clothes, hair and makeup are the ultimate outlets to express your unique style. You have to love yourself before you can love fashion. I have transformed from seeing myself as a “scrawny” girl who can’t rock a stylish outfit, to a petite princess who will take on any fashion risk with ease and excitement. My best advice is to dress for your body, not the other way around.
When I am not working or online shopping for the latest trends to color my life, I am usually hanging out with friends, adventuring the great outdoors, or studying. As a graduate student at Mount St. Mary’s college, I am pursuing my journey from a pre-school teacher into becoming an elementary school teacher. I proudly received my undergraduate degree, as well as irreplaceable memories, at SUNY New Paltz. Go Hawks!
As for my style, I love to take risks. I like to wear clothing or accessories that others admire from a far, but fear the challenge of wearing them. My favorite trends at the moment are chokers, statement necklaces, tall strappy heels, bodysuits, neutral colors, high-waisted pants, matching sets and all-suede everything. I like to express my mood through my outfit. Some days I chose to be girly, other days I’m tomboy street-chic. Fashion has been a hobby of mine since a young age. I design and sew my own outfits, as well as tailor all my clothes. As long as you stay confident, you can rock any style you want.
Always stay classy and fabulous!
