Hey Fashionistas/os! My name is Amber Carlson and I cannot believe this is my seventh semester working with CollegeFashionista! I am a senior at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a major in marketing.
I am originally from a small town in Wisconsin, but upon graduation this spring, I plan to move to New York City where I can start my fashion career. Ideally, I would like to work for a stylist or in the fashion department of a magazine. My ultimate goal is to be a stylist on my own one day so I am excited for any opportunity that gets me closer to this goal.
Although I am eagerly anticipating moving to New York in the very near future, my current home of Madison, WI, still holds a special place in my heart. I am excited to spend my last semester with friends exploring everything Madison has to offer and seeking out all the Fashionistas/os sporting the spring trends!
Of course being in Wisconsin, I am most excited for when the weather warms up in the spring so that I can shed my parka and show off my outfits that have been hidden under layers for the last few months. My style has always been simple and clean. Going from class to class all week means that comfort is essential to my looks and I can’t wait to evolve my style as the end of my school career approaches and my professional life flourishes!
As I look back, I am so thankful for all my time with CollegeFashionista and all the opportunities I have had. It is a surreal feeling to be graduating in a few months and to be leaving my CollegeFashionista family but I am so excited for the future and what it has in store for me. My experience with the CollegeFashionista team has been extremely rewarding thus far, so I cannot wait to see what this final semester has in store!
