Hello loves! My name is Amber Lewis and I am a sophomore at Florida State University, where I double major in media communication studies, editing, writing, and media. This is my first semester as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista and I am so excited to share my favorite outfits and styles with all of you!
Besides a recent move to Charlotte, NC, I have been a Florida girl my entire life, meaning I have a serious love for the beach, the sun, and anything you can do outside. When I’m not stretching out in the sun, I love to write, hang out with friends, and focus on my studies. I hope to one day have a career in broadcast journalism and work for a major news station.
When it comes to clothes I have always had a love for shopping and creating my own style. At the moment, I would describe my style as a mix of tomboy, trendy, and chic. I love for my outfits to be comfortable and not too flashy, but also have a dressy feel. This constant battle usually leaves my room in a mess by the time I am finished picking out an outfit, but it’s always worth it. For inspiration I like to follow girls on social media who initially have a similar style to me, but all somehow make it their own with a unique feature.
In this look, I am showcasing my mixture of styles by wearing a comfortable, but cute cropped hoodie that I threw over a tight LBD and added with a pair of heeled knee-highs boots.
