Hello Fashionistas of the world! My name is Andie and this is my first semester as a Style Guru. I am currently a sophomore attending Western Michigan University and I am studying fashion merchandising. Ever since I was a little girl, I have been into all things fashion. While my friends were into hobbies like horses or soccer, I was always either changing my outfit seven times a day or stealing my mom’s makeup.
When it comes to my personal taste, I try to stay away from basic fashion. However, I’m not one of those people that won’t wear something just because other people have it. I’m an individual but do get inspiration from other people! I would say my wardrobe is pretty diverse. One day I’ll be wearing my dad’s XL jean jacket with sneakers, the next day I’ll be wearing a bodysuit with a leather jacket and my Perspex heels. I don’t limit myself to one style, fashion is my main way of expression. I am still growing and learning and so is my sense of style. My favorite thing about fashion is that it is constantly changing while I am too.
My hobbies include not only being obsessed with fashion, but also with celebrities (yes I’m one of those people). Do you want to know what all of the Kardashians were up to yesterday? Just ask me. I get most of my fashion inspiration from these celebrities and one day I hope to style them. That would be my end goal, to become a celebrity stylist. Another hobby of mine is art. I like to paint and draw, mostly abstract things. I’ve also been getting into photography as well. I’m just artistic by nature.
