Hi Fashionistas, my name is Andrea Cotugno and I am a junior at Kent State University, majoring in Fashion Merchandising and minoring in Fashion media and Public Relations. I am so excited to be a Style Guru this semester for CollegeFashionista. I can’t wait to bring you all the latest styles and trends from my school and from the Cleveland area.
My personal style is constantly evolving and changing based on how I’m feeling or new trends I want to try. I think having an ever-changing style is important and it is fun to experiment and try new things. Even though my style is always changing, I’m a gypsy at heart and always love the more bohemian look. I love effortless flowy tops, lots of light layers, maxi dresses and, of course, all the fun layering stone jewelry. I draw a lot of my style inspiration from looking at pictures from the ‘70s, especially photos from the Woodstock Music Festival. I try and incorporate the boho pieces into my more basic pieces to make one clean modern bohemian look.
Some of my hobbies include working out, shopping (of course!), spending time with my friends and trying new things; I am always up for an adventure. So as I begin my new adventure as a Style Guru, I hope that you will follow me and look out for my posts each week. Have a #RAD semester!
