Hey there Fashionistas/os! My name is Andrea and I am so excited to begin the fabulous journey as a Style Guru here at CollegeFashionista! I am currently a sophomore at SUNY New Paltz and I am thrilled to show you all the different styles that live there. This fall semester is going to be a blast!
My motto is “Look good, feel good, do good,” so I always aim to do so. When life gets hectic, due dates happen to fall on the same day and you’ve gotten little to no sleep, there is no cure better than a killer look. It makes life more exciting and acts as a creative outlet freedom to express yourself. I find inspiration everywhere I go and it definitely reflects in my style.
My style ranges all over the spectrum. From boho-chic to comfy cool, I’m always switching it up and I’m definitely not a creature of habit! Some of my favorite pieces are distressed boyfriend jeans, an army green utility coat, chunky sweaters and delicate necklaces. I also love to play around with makeup to add to my look; I have fun with different lip colors and live for perfect eyebrows!
I love statement pieces with bold patterns or unusual shapes. In this look, I’m sporting both elements with a top from ALYA. This off-the-shoulder floral number pops off of dark wash flare jeans, also paired with round frame Ray-Ban sunnies and chunky wooden heels from Target add to the chic ’70s vibe that I am currently obsessed with! With a nude lip, it ties the look together while keeping it simple and polished.
