Hey there, Fashionista/os! My name is Angela Jones, I am a Fashion Marketing and Management major at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. This is my first semester at CollegeFashionista and I hope to continue writing until graduation! I survive on copious amounts of coffee and online shopping. I am not your traditional college student, as next year I will be turning 30 (EEK)!
After almost 10 years since graduating high school, I finally decided to go into the field I am the most passionate about, which is fashion of course! My graduation goal is to be a fashion buyer; however, recently I have been flip-flopping between being a buyer and a stylist.
Fashion is all about self-expression, the sky is the limit. I am ecstatic to join the Guru Gang in time for my favorite season, fall. Fall is all about layers and no fall outfit can be complete without boots! Thigh high, knee high, booties, flat or heeled, I love them all!
I wouldn’t say that I’m a minimalist, but my style is definitely on the simple side, with my focus on accessories and, most importantly, the shoes! To me, the shoes make the outfit! I am an avid online shopper, in fact almost my entire outfit today comes from e-commerce stores. This simple T-shirt dress in berry and white sporty bomber are from BooHoo.com. I paired this with a whiskey colored peep toe bootie and arrow necklace from JustFab.com. The mini bar pendant necklace and statement ring are from Charming Charlie. To complete the look, I added my NYX liquid suede cream lipstick in soft-spoken, which came in my Glambag from Ipsy!
