Hey it’s me! I’m Ann Marie, a sophomore fashion design and merchandising major at Kent State University. I love fashion because it’s art you live you life in. When I first saw The Devil Wears Prada, I knew that I wanted to one day become Andy. I wouldn’t mind the purse being thrown onto my desk every morning, or the endless Starbucks orders; that’s what I wanted to do.
This led to endless pages of Vogue, too many episodes of Project Runway, and one application to Kent State University’s fashion program. I love being in a creative major with other creative people! It’s so great to be a part of the fashion program, and now the College Fashionista community! I’m excited to share new posts with you all and get to know you over the summer! Through my posts here I want to share with you my personal style and lifestyle! If there’s one thing I’m passionate about it’s quality. I want to share a message of sustainability through buying pieces that will last a life time. My favorite piece in my closet is my leather tote that I’m carrying here. It may be a little on the pricey side for a college students wallet, but when you add up how much you’d spend on a new backpack each year, it doesn’t seem that bad. Plus, its so beautiful and handmade in Cleveland, Ohio! I also love to wear easy pieces for summer, like a cool jean jacket, and a simple wrap dress.
