Hey Fashionistas! My name is Anna Gavalick, introducing myself yet again in another Style Guru bio. It amazes me that this is already my fourth semester as a Style Guru with CollegeFashionista. I have learned so much during this internship. My love for fashion and writing has immensely grown and my Fashionista seeking skills have definitely improved. That being said, welcome aboard to another #RAD semester of finding the best outfits on campus!
As a refresher, I am now a junior retail merchandising major and marketing minor at Bradley University. Life at Bradley has given me some amazing experiences so far. As a freshman, I would have never imagined myself to be where I am now. Through my time here at Bradley, I have joined Greek life, worked on projects with the theatre’s costume department and of course, scoped the campus for stylish Fashionistas. Being involved on campus really helped me become more confident, more prepared and more passionate with my love of fashion.
As I’ve grown through college, there is without a doubt a reflection of that with my personal style. I love to play around with current trends and classic styles, making it into a look of my own. The new school year is the perfect time to try new fashion trends and create your campus style. This fall, I will be experimenting with bohemian styles like this flowy, floral maxi dress. The dress is a bit sheer so I decided to pair it with high-waisted, dark wash jeggings, a simple white tank top, nude sandals and simple jewelry that reflects the bohemian vibe. This outfit is perfect for walking from class to class or meeting a friend for a coffee date. To make this outfit appropriate for night, swap out the conservative, light colored tank for a dark, flirty one and add on a pair of wedges or heeled booties. My favorite thing about fashion is that it is a way to express yourself and the way you are feeling.
I am so excited for the start of a new school year! I can’t wait to share my fashion finds with you all. I know this semester is going to be filled with stylish Fashionistas all over. I mean, campus is like your own little runway, right?
Here’s to making this semester the most fashionable one yet!
