Hello Fashionistas! My name is Anna Huang. I was born in New York and then temporarily lived in China for five years with my grandparents. Then I came back to the United States to live in New Jersey and I’ve lived here ever since I was a little girl. Currently, I’m a sophomore at Rutgers University, double majoring in Human Resource and Economics with a minor in Korean. Since I only am a sophomore, I will most likely change my major a thousand times, but that is what I’m focusing on at the moment.
It’s difficult to describe what my fashion sense is since my closet has a little bit of everything. A good amount of my wardrobe includes floral print, ruffles and soft fabrics. There are also quite a bit of exotic pieces in there.
My sense of style changes depending on what I’m feeling. I can be simple and classic or I can be artsy and avoid the conventional and be unique. One of my main priorities is to be comfortable while looking chic and put together. Flannels, leather jackets and boots are an absolute must in my closet.
One of my favorite outfits is a white button-down with dark-rinse jeans and black boots. It looks effortless, yet you still look effortlessly chic. You also add a statement piece, such as a garish necklace, for instant drama. What I love about fashion is that there are endless combinations of different outfits that can make a person look rocker-chic or ultra girly-girl. Add a leather jacket or combat boots to an outfit and it can instantly add an edge to any outfit.
Although fashion and makeup are my main priorities, I love music and dance. I’m currently in a dance group called Verse One. If you ever see me walking around Rutgers, I will most likely have my red earphones in, blasting music genres from EDM to classical to hip-hop. My taste in music can be very eclectic, but my views on music can also be applied to everyday life. After all, what’s life if you never try anything new?
