Hello all you Fashionista/os! I’m so excited to be returning for my third semester as part of the CollegeFashionista team. I am currently a junior American Studies major at Yale University. I’m amazed at how quickly people have been turning to online sources for all of their fashion inspiration. It is such an honor to be back and writing about all of the amazing Fashionista/os I come into contact with.
Wow, I can’t believe this year is ending and we are already entering into 2015, really it’s crazy. The new year is definitely something that I am more than a little nervous for; I feel like my college career is passing me by faster than I could have ever imagined possible. But with this trepidation comes an unsettling yet exhilarating sense of adventure. The new year will bring a whole new set of experiences and opportunities for me and the same goes for all of you readers too! New classes, friendships and even jobs are all on the horizon for the year. So let’s make this a year where we dress to make the most out of these new experiences.
Everyone has their own personal style, what works for some might not work for others and that’s completely ok! If wearing something makes you feel confident, cute or even sexy, then wear it! Seriously, wear things that make you feel good about yourself. Fashion is the ultimate form of self expression, works of art that you live in and interact with others in every day. So, with this in mind let’s treat our bodies as our canvas and have a totally rad semester! I’ll be here capturing your amazing style around campus, showcasing those of you that seem especially inspired on a particular day and hopefully inspiring others to take a few steps out of their comfort zone and try something new.
