Hello Fashionistas/os! My name is Annelise Park and I am a junior at the University of South Carolina. I am a sport and entertainment management major and retailing minor, so I am lucky to be able to broaden my passion for fashion in my academic career. Fall in Columbia, South Carolina is the perfect season to dress to impress. With that being said, I am so excited to start my journey as a Style Guru for this fall semester.
Shopping has always been one of my favorite hobbies. I would describe my personal style as simple and sophisticated with a hint of boho-chic. Being comfortable is key for me when it comes to clothes, so even though I love dressing up, nothing beats a T-shirt and a comfy pair of sweatpants. I believe your style is a representation of your personality, so the way you dress is a great way to display who you are to the world without using words.
Another one of my hobbies is attending sports games and live music events. These are both places where planning out an outfit is part of the experience. Sports and music can have a huge influence on your style and I love how the newest fashion trends can always be spotted at a sport or live entertainment event.
Currently, I’m loving the flowy sleeves trend. The winged look to this shirt adds flare to the outfit and allows for keeping jewelry and shoes simple. The tribal pattern of the shirt and the tie up tassels add a boho feel to the look. The coloring is a bit dark, so this shirt can be worn during all seasons, and is especially perfect for the fall. You can never go wrong with a pair of denim cutoffs and they are definitely a staple piece in my closet. Overall, this look is super simple, yet still fashionable.
