I’m Antonia Gabriele. I am 18 years old and was born in Brooklyn, New York, raised in Westchester. I am an upcoming sophomore at Marist College and am a fashion merchandising major with a minor in photography. My hometown consists of stores that close at 8:00 p.m., the best egg sandwiches and very judgmental people. Going to college has opened my eyes and I am happy to say I’ve become my own. Finding fashion has helped me in more ways than one. It has, and continues to, let me express myself and makes me feel good!
My style changes day-to-day, but many would describe my style as a mix of grunge, girly and chic, and I have to say—I agree. I like to keep up with the trends, but I do tend to wear whatever the heck I want. Whatever I am wearing, I try to wear it in a way that I like best, it keeps it more personal. Here, I am wearing my favorite boyfriend jeans, a bodysuit and cozy sweater to keep me warm. I paired this outfit with a pair of all-black Converse for comfort. Comfort is important!
Although I don’t graduate for another three years, after college I hope to somehow incorporate fashion with my love for photography. Eventually, I would love to be a stylist. Not only do my best friends refer to me as their personal stylist in reference to clothing, but to other aspects of their lives as well. I have found a love for styling other people. Picking out, putting together pieces and putting them on others is just super fun and I’ve grown very fond of it.
Freshman year has made my love for fashion so strong and I am so excited to share that love with you all.
