Oh hey, it’s me again! I’m wrapping up my second year at the University of California, San Diego and it sounds absolutely crazy to me. Where did all the time go?!
As I look back at my first two years of university, I can’t help but reflect on not only how much I grew as a person but also how much I’ve grown professionally. My college experience has been jam-packed with jobs, internships and organization leadership roles that really took a lot of blood, sweat and even the occasional tears. As I start my fourth semester working with CollegeFashionista, I think it’s absolutely amazing that CollegeFashionista has been there with me during this journey of learning and growth.
My name is April Valerie Huang and I won’t stop working and grinding to reach my dream of one day working in the fashion industry. Despite the long hours and seemingly endless to-do lists, my passion and drive rises above it all. I love the fashion industry and how it is constantly changing and forever keeping us on our toes.
As for my outfit details, I kept this bio’s look very laid back but put-together. Everything in this quick and easy outfit includes only closet basics. A simple gray V-neck T-shirt can be the base of virtually any outfit. I tied mine in a knot and layered it over a pair of high-waisted blue denim jeans. By adding a light gray coat and black ankle boots, I amped up the cool factor to take this outfit from morning to night.
This summer, I will be posting inspirational and mindful posts about some of the most fashionable college students here on CollegeFashionista.
