Hello fellow Fashionista/o’s, I’m back at it again for a second #RAD semester with CollegeFashionista. I’m a senior at Elmhurst College pursuing a degree in communications with a double minor in business administration and dance education. This last semester of college means graduation in May, and I couldn’t be more excited to see what the future brings.
Being a city girl at heart, I spend as much time as possible in Chicago taking dance classes, exploring new coffee shops, and of course, weekend brunch at Fremont. Nothing makes me happier than traveling to new places. Some of my favorite destinations are Prague, Amsterdam, Rome, New Orleans, New York City, and San Francisco. When traveling, I always make sure I have my Mario Badescu Facial Spray on hand and a fresh playlist.
I don’t have a specific style I would categorize myself in to. I feel it is very important to try new looks and see what works for the day or occasion. As a dancer, I love expressing myself without the use of words or actions, and I feel beauty and fashion are a great way to do that.
For chilly days by the river walk, I’m wearing skinny jeans, my favorite off-the-shoulder sweater, a lace bralette for some detail, and suede booties that have been through more than words can express. A go-to leather jacket is a great piece I recommend everyone should have. It is a great way to keep warm without sacrificing style. I absolutely love to accessorize with gold, and this Henri Bendel hand chain is my new obsession. Layering with some bangles and a gold ring on my other hand adds a little pop without taking away from the rest of the look.
CollegeFashionista has given me so much insight into the fashion and writing world. I cannot wait for this semester and the opportunities to come. Stay tuned for some outfit trends and inspiration this upcoming semester!
