Hello, readers! I’m back for a second exciting semester with CollegeFashionista and I wouldn’t want to have it any other way! When I finished writing for this past summer semester, I knew I wanted to keep moving forward with this great team.
I am a senior Journalism News and Telecommunications major. Being in journalism has encouraged me to push further into learning more about fashion, since I’d love to write about it one day. Fashion has always been a true love of mine since a very young age, and I want to continue to express and explore the world I see. My style has changed many, many times throughout my life and continues to change as I try something new. My inspiration stems from fashion bloggers, Tumblr, TV shows and the people I see walking around campus.
I’ve never had a specific way of dressing. I gravitates towards what feels comfortable and looks nice. Thrift shopping is one of my favorite things to do as well, so it definitely helps me think. When I’m not writing for CollegeFashionista, I love to read fashion magazines, stay up to date with social media, get involved on campus and get to know other people. I also have a strong love for Starbucks caramel frappuccinos and I’m an avid cartoon lover.
For my first day of class, I decided to go with something that would keep me cool, but still look very cute. I have on a striped red and white crop top from Charlotte Russe along with an asymmetrical black skirt from No Boundaries. My shoes are a pair of red TOMS canvas shoes.
I hope to inspire you all to try new styles and work with what you love! I am really grateful to have you all reading along. Stay tuned for more!
