Hi Fashionistas/os! My name is Atsi and currently I am a rising sophomore at Rutgers University studying English. I am so excited to be joining the CollegeFashionista team this fall!
Growing up, I was always the known as the “Little Fashionista”. In fact, as I started to mature into a young adult, I couldn’t help but read every fashion magazine like it was the last. I was a voracious reader, eating up anything and everything that had to do with fashion. With that being said, I am very excited to be granted this opportunity to blog for CollegeFashionista.
I would like to say that my style would be considered trendy, yet affordable. I enjoy wearing darker colors such as black and grey, but occasionally I will add more softer colors like white. Personally, I believe that accessorizing is very important; it helps jazz up the overall look.
In this look, I decided to stay comfortable, yet still trendy. High-waisted bottoms are back, so I decided to wear white high-waisted pants and a choker to really embody the ’90s look. I’ve seen different types of long tops for a while now, so I decided why not take a fashion risk and also try out this trend? As always, I paired my outfit with the right heels; I also believe that heels can make an outfit go from casual to dressy. Last but not least, I accessorized and pulled together the entire outfit with a white handbag and a bold red lip.
