Hello everyone! My name is Aubrey Bepko, and I am so grateful and excited to be a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista this semester!
I am currently a sophomore at Pace University in New York City! I’m majoring in marketing and business with a minor in fashion marketing. With the heart of the fashion industry right outside my doors, studying fashion marketing in the big apple is a dream come true. In my free time you can find me exploring the streets of Manhattan, chilling out at a local coffee shop, or shopping at my favorite Soho boutiques.
Coco Chanel, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Diane von Furstenburg are just the start of my fashion icon inspirations. I would say my style can range from street style to chic to glam, but I am always up for trying out new fashion looks. I love to wear simple outfits, but make them stand out at the same time! I mainly stick to neutrals tones, but in the summer and spring time I love to add a detailed pop of color. This season I have been loving over-the-knee boots and booties, as well as accent jackets and coats.
One style I love, and that is my go-to, is a puffed or statement jacket paired with a simple top and bottom and a cute pair of boots or booties. In this outfit, I am wearing my favorite coat (it’s actually a men’s jacket from Burberry) with a simple grey tank top under. I love the plaid detail showing in the collar! For the bottom half, I’m wearing dark wash jeans with a pair of tan booties. Heeled booties have been a must this past fall and winter; I feel they make the simplest outfits stand out. Also, to add a touch of detail, I also wore printed sunglasses to give this outfit a patterned pop.
I’m ready to have a great time and take on a full work load in my courses and internships this semester. I am looking forward to the opportunities CollegeFashionista will lead me to!
