Hey everyone! My name is Avona and I am from Wilmington, Delaware, a very small and quiet state. Yet, there is nothing small nor quiet about my love and passion for fashion. I developed a love for fashion at a young age, from taking items out of my mom’s closet to reading Vogue while we were grocery shopping. I could not imagine how my life would be if fashion did not play such a tremendous part.
I am currently a freshmen at the Savannah College of Art & Design studying fashion design. I am beyond excited to see what it is like to be a part of the CollegeFashionista team. I would consider my style to be urban with a timeless and classy twist. You will catch me in a crop top and ripped jeans paired with a sleek trench coat and boots. No matter what the occasion, the first thing on my mind is what to wear or what not to wear. I have always been the friend that people go to for fashion advice. I am always on the lookout for new trends and what celebrity stylists are putting together. With my sharp eye for upcoming trends and tiny details, I can always nail a perfect look for myself and others. When I am not in class, I find myself looking up fashion blogs to see who’s wearing what and going to the mall to see what stores are carrying.
