Hello Fashionistas/os! I’m Bailey Chupein you will probably always catch me with either a soda or an ice coffee in my hand on my way to class. I am currently a junior at the lovely University of South Florida majoring in Marketing. When my face isn’t in my textbooks studying for classes it’s buried in the newest magazine or my eyes are glued on my phone scrolling through Instagram. When I’m not on campus, I’m either binge-watching anything on Netflix or exploring new coffee shops and boutiques downtown.
Fashion and style is something I’ve always loved experimenting in; in fact it’s the only thing I’ve ever experimented in, including science. In a way I believe Fashion is a way of art, you are your own artist when you wake up in the morning and put together an outfit. I was always told that how you present yourself says a lot about you, and I think it’s true. What you wear is how people will see you as an individual, and that’s why I love fashion and why I try to take my time when getting ready, but let’s be honest that doesn’t happen quite often in college.
I like to describe my style as “boho-chic”, but also easy to put together, which I think describes my ensemble perfectly. The jean dress adds the chic part of the outfit and the sandals, bralette, and layered necklaces and rings add the boho part to this look. This summer the festival and bohemian look will greatly appear in my wardrobe.
This will be my first semester as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista and words cannot describe how pumped I am to join the team. I know embarking on this journey will soon become the best thing that ever will happen to my career in fashion. Beginning this journey and spreading the word on how fashionable the students at USF can be will probably be the best part. So be ready fellow bulls!
