Hello fellow Fashionistas and Fashionistos! My name is Becky and I’m super excited to be returning this semester as a Style Guru! I am a senior at Cleveland State University majoring in Photography and Journalism and I’ve just returned from a summer in New York City interning with Seventeen Magazine.
I’m super excited to get back to working with CollegeFashionista this semester because I really believe that even though Cleveland State may not be known for being fashionable, we have some pretty chic Fashionistas that deserve to be talked about and I can’t wait to show them to you.
Fashion is something that I’ve always been really passionate about. Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve been into fashion, whether it be shopping with my aunt or dressing up for dance recitals. Now as a senior in college, I’m hoping to turn that passion into a career and hopefully work for a major fashion publication after I graduate.
As for my personal style, I find a lot of inspiration in people like the Olsen twins, Kendall Jenner and even Cara Delevigine. I love dark, classic layers but I also can’t live without a good graphic T-shirt. In this look I’m wearing one of my favorite go-to outfits. I love this because it’s such an easy look to throw on when you’re in a rush but still need to look cute and polished. A good shift dress along with a structured leather jacket and some good ballet flats are definitely my must-haves!
