Hello! My name is Bianca Martinez and I am a Journalism major and Video Production minor at Columbia College Chicago! This will be my second semester interning with CollegeFashionista. I am super excited to be continuing my internship with such talented mentors and fellow Style Gurus!
I am from Northwest Indiana right outside of Chicago. I currently live in the city to go to school. After I graduate I would like to move somewhere warm either in Florida or California.
Fashion is one of my favorite hobbies as I love shopping, discovering new trends and putting together outfits everyday to wear, whether it is to class or a fun night out on the town! I would like to someday work for a fashion brand possibly in public relations. I enjoy reading magazines such as Glamour, ELLE and Vogue.
I enjoy my internship with CollegeFashionista because it gives me the opportunity to network with people in the industry. I also love searching for Fashionistas/os on the city streets and discovering unique styles. Writing for CollegeFashionista has definitely helped me improve my blog writing skills to make my articles more interesting and appealing to readers.
I have a very eclectic style, as I have clothes in my closet that range from girly to grunge, bohemian, etc. I choose my outfits depending on where I am going that day or my mood. Some of my favorite articles of clothing would be my flannel, distressed washed out shorts and black combat boots.
