Hello, my ladies and gentlemen! My name is Brianna Porrello and I am an Integrated Marketing Communications major with a minor in Public Relations and Business at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) in Oxford, Mississippi. I like to think of Integrated Marketing Communications as a fancy way of combining journalism, social media and marketing all into one.
When I’m not in the deep south, I reside in the sunny Orange County, California. Whether it’s wearing cowboy boots to a football game or hanging out on the beach, I have found a personal style of my own that I can feel comfortable in, anywhere I am. I love change, traveling, experiencing new things and finding new trends in all different kinds of places.
I’m so excited and lucky to be a part of CollegeFashionista this summer. I can’t wait to develop and grow within my own style, yet still be inspired by all of the lovely Style Gurus we have here! I hope this summer I take many style risks, find new trends and grow with my writing abilities.
So what style do I have exactly? It’s hard to say sometimes. On some days I feel like dressing boho-chic and putting on some of my favorite items from Free People. I’ll throw on a pair of my favorite Sam Edelman sandals with a basic white top and blue cut-off shorts to call it a casual day. Other days I go to work in an all-black ensemble with my favorite heels from Tory Burch. Either way, I love dressing up for all occasions and finding a different style to suit how I’m feeling that day. I hope that this summer internship will help me define myself and my own personal style.
