With the crisp winter air (finally) falling into place, I begin my journey with CollegeFashionista. As an avid fashion lover and shopping addict, the Style Guru internship allows for the perfect opportunity to create, inspire and appreciate all things fashion. New to the team, I hope to create articles that show my flair for creativity and my eye for style.
How do I describe my style? Edgy-chic. My wardrobe consists of every neutral in the book, but I like to mix different patterns and textures in with my otherwise monochrome wardrobe. I always say: you can never have enough black! I keep my accessories simple, but like to vamp up a look with a bold lip or winged liner. My shoes are my splurge purchases since I think they can make or break an outfit.
Although I would love to be wandering the streets of one of the fashion capitals of the world, my campus is grounded in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, best known for the steel and Christmas star. While street style is my favorite way to find inspiration, I usually use my social media handles to find the latest trends. With the thousands of fashion bloggers and fashion addicts, Instagram has become my go-to for style inspiration. Some of my favorites are Sincerely, Jules, Rubilove, WhoWhatWear and LiketoKnow.it. From all things fashion and beauty, Instagram has it!
With the cold setting in, you’ll find me in my lucky leather, black booties and patterned prints. My accessories include round Ray-Bans, silver rings and a vintage repurposed Nikon telephoto lens case as a cross-body bag.
