Hello all! My name is Brittney Wojcik and I am beyond excited to be back for another semester. I am a junior studying marketing, spanish and fashion merchandising at Western Michigan University. Fashion is a constant in my life and something I cannot live without. Sharing my favorite trends with friends and family is one of my all time favorite activities!
So let’s get down to it! A few of my favorite trends at the moment are lacy bralettes, stripes and two-strap sandals. The high neckline of my tank top cuts in, making it perfect for my halter white lace bralette to peek out from behind. Bralettes are all of the rave nowadays and I have definitely jumped on board!
Stripes have been a staple of my wardrobe for as long as I can remember. In fact, I was once challenged to go an entire week without wearing stripes and found great difficulty. Stripes are timeless and appropriate for any activity. Summer has officially arrived in Chicago, so I needed a shoe to complement the warm sun. A neutral two-strap slide-on sandal complements any outfit by adding a bit of detail with the straps, but still putting the majority of the attention on your stellar outfit. And, quite possibly my favorite feature, they are super easy to throw on if you are in a rush!
My style has remained fairly classic over the years, so I paired my outfit with dark denim shorts. To maintain a common neutrality, I threw on a black crocheted kimono. The crochet detailing adds a bit of interest and edge to my outfit, something I typically look for in pieces. So here’s to a fabulous, stylish summer! I cannot wait to share with you the other trends I stumble upon.
