Hi, Style Gurus! I’m Brittni Morrison, a California native living in Durham, North Carolina where I am a rising junior at North Carolina A&T University. I’m an extraordinary dreamer with a crazy drive for success and an even crazier passion for fashion. B’Mor Styles is my brand which I am slowly but surely building upon.
I’m extremely excited to be joining the CollegeFashionista family! It brings me so much excitement to know that all of my enthusiasm and love for fashion is a common interest I share with many other individuals like you all. Who’s to say analyzing someone’s outfit is not normal? It has always been a secret hobby of mine to discretely observe every super dope outfit to ever walk past me. Now I get to do it openly and share it? Are you kidding me?!
Growing up, I always had a different but unique style that always caused me to stand out and drew people to me. Thankfully, I grew into my style when I began my college career. It was then that I started to realize how much it meant to me and to really express myself through my daily ensemble. I’ve never been a fan of “fitting in” anyways. If I could wear fur in the summer…I would. I must say I am a big advocate of focus on the little things; details. I live for a simply chic ensemble with some eye-catching accessories. A pop of color here and there will always do the trick.
My belief is that style is not what the latest Adam Selman ready-to-wear collection portrays, or what your favorite 100k follower-having fashion blogger just recently posted a picture wearing. Style is more of a personal thing; it is what you like, how you want to wear it and how awesomely you do it. By now I’m hoping that I have convinced you to join me on my stylish journey as a ‘certified’ Style Guru this summer. I’ll give you guys so much to ‘Rad’ about.
