Hello beauties. My name is Brookelynn Williams, and I am a Fashion Merchandising and Public Relations major. Eventually, I’d like to do social media and public relations for a fashion company. Actually, I love fashion so much, that I’d settle for second assistant of some snooty CEO if it meant dressing like I was walking down the runway everyday.
My personal style is whatever I feel like wearing that day—preppy, edgy, trendy or classic. My go-to look is what I like to call “casual-chic.” Like in the feature pictures, I pair very feminine piece (i.e. the fur vest and leopard heels) with a more casual, almost edgy piece. I’m all about being comfortable and cute at the same time. Another way I put outfits together is accessorizing! You could be wearing the most boring outfit but throw on a statement necklace, tons of arm candy and a fabulous handbag and you’re good to go!
Fashion has basically been my entire life for the past five years. Not many people take us Fashion majors seriously, but we are basically just businesswomen (and men) who look and dress better than everyone else. Not to mention, I’d rather create an entire clothing line than make a power point or take a test! From reading countless fashion magazines a month, to being glued to social media and fashion blogs during all the fashion weeks, I know I have picked the perfect major.
