Hey Fashionista/os and welcome to my newest STYLE GURU BIO!
My name is Cailin (Cay) Sheehan, and I’m an incoming senior at Rowan University in New Jersey. I study public relations and advertising and hope to pursue a fashion-related career in merchandising, social media or special events after I graduate next May.
My favorite things to do when school is out for the summer are hit up music festivals and shows with my sister and friends, take photos and write for my personal blog, make amazing food for @veggiecay on Instagram and barista at a local java spot. I also love to go to Philly to test out cool bars, visit friends and find amazing vegan breakfasts! Philadelphia has the most extensive, wild and amazing vegan offerings of any city I’ve visited in the United States. I highly encourage my fellow Fashionista/os to visit my city and explore the wonderful eating scene with me!
I lead an active and aware life, and my style represents these personality traits. My looks are primarily inspired by street style in the city and international bloggers on LOOKBOOK.
I identify with a bright, minimalist style, however my best looks usually contain one statement piece to set the tone. The showcased outfit in this bio shows a basic jumpsuit with thin stripes. This Zara jumpsuit represents the plain colors and silhouettes that make up half of my closet. I pumped up this look with some tricked-out, sparkly booties from YRU. These fabulous shoes represent the wacky, and sometimes weird other half of my closet: the half that makes me the Fashionista I am. I also love the color pop of a knotted bandana-turned-choker and matching, ballsy lip color to complete this very Cailin look.
If I could give some advice to brand new Style Gurus, it would be to utilize social media to make the most of this experience because CollegeFashionista the perfect way to connect with awesome, fashionable friends from all over the country.
