STYLE GURU BIO: Camille Jurgella

Why, hello there! It seems you’ve happened to stumble across my very first Style Guru post. I can’t even explain to you guys how excited I am to kick off my sophomore year with an internship with CollegeFashionista. A little background on my life: I am a newly turned 19 year old attending the University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh. My current major in school is communicational studies with a minor in psychology. Working hard for the money I spend has always been important to me! With that being said, I currently work at the on-campus police station as a community service officer, and it has been one of my favorite parts of college so far. I am in love with making other people smile, coffee, getting my nails done, Instagram, baseball caps and, of course, a good shopping trip.

One of my greatest pet peeves is when people believe that name brands and a price tag make you “fashionable.” My mother always told me, “If you feel comfortable in it, that’s fashion within itself.” I always have and will continue to shop at each and every kind of store there is. I’m sure you’ve guessed it—from Forever 21 to Victoria Secret’s PINK all the way down to a trip to a local Goodwill, you can always find a fashion steal.

So, why a CollegeFashionista internship? Well, fashion has grown to be one of my biggest obsessions as I’ve gotten older, and I love to share my tips and tricks with others. I don’t categorize myself to any specific type of style or fashion, but if I had to narrow it down I am totally into simplicity right now. A nice relaxed T-shirt with some Converse and a baseball cap is a description of a typical go-to for me. Otherwise, cardigans and comfy socks are my staples in my fall wardrobe each and every year. So for this look, I actually decided to wear something casual and dress it up a bit. I grabbed one of my newest additions to my closet: a romper I found on sale! I matched the creme of the romper with a soft white cardigan. The cardigan isn’t too hot, so it was perfect for this look! I then finished the look off with some super casual but also incredibly comfortable heels and two of my favorite rings.
