Hey friends and Fashionistas/os! My name is Carly, and I am from a small town in northern Arkansas. I go to Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas. I am currently a Strategic Communications Major with a double emphasis in Public Relations and Advertising, along with a minor in both Entrepreneurship and Graphic Design.
If I had to tell you when I fell in love with fashion there would be no answer. I remember being very young and always wanting to play dress up wherever I was. My aunt joked around so much about my love to shop that she continues to tell people the first words out of my mouth were “Charge it!” I have no specific job that I’d like to have after school, but I know there will be many opportunities to find something perfect.
As for my personal style, I’m not even sure how I would describe it. I am regular college-sorority girl who rocks a big, comfy shirt and shorts when I’ve got a full day of class, but I love to get all dolled up! My go-to when it comes to looking presentable would be a super cute and comfy (again all about being comfy) T-shirt dress and some booties or wedges. My favorite thing to wear this year have been some Alex and Ani bangles that my grandma got me. They are simple, personalized and really go well with any outfit!
Needless to say, I am beyond excited to begin this semester of college as a part of CollegeFashionista. I cannot wait to see what new people I will meet on the website, social media, and on campus. Here’s to a RAD semester!
