Hey again, Fashionistas! My name is Caroline Casey and I am so excited to be writing for CollegeFashionista again this semester. Last semester was so much fun. I loved having the ability to take photographs of Providence College students, which I must add, are incredibly fashionable.
For those of you who did not follow along with me last semester, I am currently a sophomore at Providence College studying Marketing and Writing and I hope to one day pursue a career in the fashion industry.
I have been working in fashion retail for a few years now. I spent around two years working at a Brooks Brothers, where my interest in the industry continued to elevate. Currently, I am working for Madewell, which is one of my favorite companies overall. Madewell’s aesthetic is a lot like my own: classic and edgy but always chic.
I decided just recently that next year I will be spending my fall semester abroad in Paris. As I continue to shop and put outfits together, I am always thinking about how I would style them while I am traveling Europe. Travel has greatly influenced my fashion sense today as I have traveled throughout Europe such as London, Prague, Paris, Dublin and various others.
This Zara jacket is one of my favorite finds from a few years back. The leopard gives the look a bold print and some edge. My sweater is a recent find from H&M. It is extremely comfortable and has some fringe detailing which makes it unique. My black ripped skinny jeans are from Madewell and I swear they are the comfiest jeans I own! Lastly, my oxfords are from a few years back, also from Madewell.
Thank you all for reading! I can’t wait to be writing for CollegeFashionista again this spring and looking for some new fashion trends on my campus.
