Hello Fashionistas! I’m back for my second semester as a Style Guru and I could not be more excited! I love fashion but I also like to be comfortable, and I feel as if this outfit exudes that feeling. No matter the season, I am always drawn to neutral colors. This T-shirt is perfect because its a light material to keep me cool in the summer heat, it’s a color that can be matched with a lot of different items and it can be dressed up or dressed down. I love a good versatile piece in my wardrobe!
These American Eagle Outfitters jeans are some of my favorites. I’ll never buy jeans with rips already in them, I prefer to wear them down naturally to give them their own individual edge. These boots I have are a recent purchase and they are what I would describe as the perfect all season ankle boot. They’re not too heavy and the thick heel makes them extremely easy to walk in. While I paired them with jeans in this outfit, they could give a dress an edgy vibe or be paired with leggings to dress up a more “lazy day” outfit.
As for accessories, I love a good accessory (or two…or three). This bag is perfect as a cross-body bag or a shoulder bag and is large enough to hold all of the essentials I need. The take on a braided look gives it a special touch and helps it stand out from your standard run of the mill black leather bag. The pop of color in this outfit comes with the sunglasses. I have been loving reflective lenses lately, especially for summer. Lastly, my watch adds a subtle bit of sparkle and compliments the neutral tone of the my T-shirt.
Overall, I’m so excited to be back with CollegeFashionista for another semester. I will be taking on another internship in Jersey City so I am so excited to bring you posts about street style that I find throughout the summer!
