Hello there, summer. It’s nice to see you again! Oh, how everyone loves coming home and seeing their high school friends and family during this lovely season. Personally, I am a lover of all things vacation and relaxation and that shows through in what I like to wear. For me, summer means ditching my black on black on black outfits and breaking out some cute clothes and possibly some color.
My name is Caroline and I am going to be a sophomore at Loyola University Maryland. I live in New Jersey, about 15Â minutes away from the fabulous Big Apple. New York City and the beach are two of my favorite places to be and day trips to each make the summer that much better. Being so close to both the city and the Jersey Shore always gives me something to do and so many different fashion trends to see.
I would describe my own style as very laid back. I am the kind of girl who would love to roll out of bed and just be comfortable, but I always try my best to actually put on real clothes. I love the “casual, but nice at the same time” look. When it comes to make up and accessories, I’m all about being minimalistic. My go-to summer outfit would be a pair of denim shorts with a crop top or slouchy T-shirt with a lace bralette peeking out. I am a sweater person in any season and always throw a light sweater on over a tank top. Black nails are my holy grail accessory. I throw on a couple of little rings and a simple necklace and that’s all the accessories I need. A good pair of Vans or beat up pair of Converse are also staples in any one of my outfits.
The thing that I love the most about fashion is how different every individual person can make it. I love to see people in outfits that I would never even think about putting together myself. Style is an expression of who you are, whether you think about it or not!
