Since this is my very first STYLE GURU BIO, I should probably introduce myself. My name is Carolyn Schufreider and I am more than ready for my first semester of writing for CollegeFashionista. If there is one thing that you need to know about me it is that I have a very loud personality. You might be looking at my photos and thinking, “Loud? This girl? Impossible.” Although my personality may be loud, my style definitely balances my exuberance. I have always been one to stick to the basics when it comes to colors, especially in my day-to-day looks. Whether you are getting ready for a night out with your fellow Fashionistas/os or you are just headed out for your daily errands, simple pieces are always a necessity.
You are probably thinking, “Oh, great. This chick is going to be boring.” Although my style is simple, I rely on a lot of accessories to make my outfits pop and to help my personality shine through. I have always been a very big fan of accessories that have a little bit of sparkle to add some excitement to my everyday look. As summer is upon us, bright accessories are especially important for more basic Fashionistas like me. Another piece that is very important to my style are the jeans. I sometimes refer to myself as a “jean snob.” Whether they are shorts, pants, or skirts, denim is something that I absolutely adore and I will drop quite a pretty penny on a #RAD pair.
As this is my first semester with CollegeFashionista, I can’t wait to share all of my tips and tricks with my fellow fashion lovers!
