Hello Fashionistas! My name is Carolyn Scionti and I am 21 years old. I am a rising senior at Providence College with a major in biology. I am currently on the pre-med track, hoping to attend PA or medical schooI. I love my undergraduate studies, but being a science nerd does not give me the opportunity to express myself in an artsy way. That is why I embraced my passion for fashion. I am so excited to write as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista this summer season!
Ever since I was seven years old, I had an interest in fashion. I started watching the reality TV series What Not to Wear and I allowed that show to become an inspiration for my own style. I always paid attention to Stacy and Clinton’s advice, but at one point I became more independent with style by creating my own looks. As I grew older, I was able to express my creative side and test out all my looks by choosing what I wore.
Throughout my years as an undergrad, I have experimented with classic, hipster and bohemian styles, and I cannot wait to share my ideas with you. My all-time favorite stores include Free People, Madewell and Urban Outfitters. Just by this brand list, you can tell that I am all about mixing up style as well as keeping up with the latest trends.
Along with fashion, I am very passionate about soccer. Soccer took up most of my life up until I was 17 years old. I love to cook and bake, and I am very active on Pinterest. I also love to learn about anatomy and I hope to work in sports medicine some day.
In this outfit, I am wearing Pictured above: a trapeze dress, a lace bralette and a ring set from Free People, and my favorite MICHAEL Michael Kors cross-body bag.
Get ready for a great summer of unique styles and be sure to check out my articles!
