Hi guys! My name is Carsen Trinkino and I am a senior studying communications at DePauw University in Indiana. I am active with HerCampus and contribute features to the site every month. I am super excited to get the opportunity to write for CollegeFashionista and I look forward to sharing my love for fashion, beauty, and photography with everyone.
Though I go to school in Indiana, I am actually a Northern California native, so my style can sometimes be very different from others on campus. My go-to outfits usually consist of a simple or distressed T-shirt, high-waisted jeans, and a nice pair of sneakers. For break this year I am in Montana so my style revolves around trendy, yet practical winter clothing.
In this outfit, I went for minimal with a pop of color. I really love black and white, but after awhile you feel the need to change it up a little bit. I decided to pair my pink cashmere sweater with some plain black jeans. If I could only wear black jeans I would! Black jeans are a very versatile article of clothing and definitely a staple in my wardrobe. Along with the sweater and jeans, I am also wearing a black leather choker and Sorel snow boots. I felt the slight pink on the boots tied the whole look together.
