Hello world! I am Carson Moline. This upcoming semester will be the start of my senior year at Illinois State University and my final year of my fashion merchandising classes. I believe that passion should be put into everything that one does. So when I found out how passionate I was about fashion I knew I had to pursue it.
I do not like to limit myself to one style of clothing because I like to dress according to my moods. One day I could rock a band T-shirt and the next I could be wearing pink lipstick and a dress. My friends tend to call me a hipster or ‘90s groupie due to my love of both the boho and vintage grunge trends.
While my favorite color is blue, my clothing tends to be black or any other neutral color. I love doing my make-up and making that the statement of my outfits, as well as, coloring my hair to add some extra pizzazz.
I guess one could say that my involvement on my high school dance team could have influenced my love for neutral colors and make-up. Along with that, I have a love for music that also lures me to looking to my favorite singers and performers for style inspiration.
The outfit that I chose to wear this day was a beautiful peasant dress that I picked up for a baby shower last year. As for my shoes, I chose to go with my adidas Superstars. These have been my favorite shoes since I received them for Christmas and I wear them with almost every outfit. My chokers are both form PacSun and my glasses are from Apricot Lane. Statement sunglasses are a big part of my summer wardrobe this year.
