I cannot believe that I am back for another semester with CollegeFashionista. For those of you who did not keep up with my articles during the summer; My name is Carson Moline and I am a senior fashion merchandising student at Illinois State University. I am hoping to write for a magazine after I graduate and hopefully move somewhere where there is a lot going on.
I am lover of music, movies, books and pretty much anything having to do with having artistic abilities. This has a lot of influence on my personal style, as one can imagine. I look to bloggers and my favorite artists to inspire me when I am shopping or getting dressed in the morning. I even take inspiration from the music I listen to throughout the day. I enjoy being casual and wearing a T-shirt and jeans just as much as I enjoy dressing myself up and wearing a dress or skirt. With the being said, I wear black more than the normal person should. So whether I am dressed up or more casual I will most likely be wearing some item of clothing that is black. I have a few staple pieces in my wardrobe that I always go back to and I happen to be wearing a few of them in my outfit for this bio.
My favorite shoes of all time are my adidas superstars. Like I stated in my last bio, I could wear them with every outfit. Most of the time, I do. I am hoping to get another pair in black. Surprise, surprise! With those shoes I decided put on, what I call, my 1980s preppy teen sweater. I love taking an item of clothing that looks like it should be one style of clothing and transforming it into another. Then I jumped into a pair of my favorite jeans and added some accessories. The chokers are a common item that I put on with any outfit to give it a bit more edge and to make me look a little more put together.
