Hello fashion lovers! My name is Caycee Turczyn, and I am a sophomore at the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. I plan to concentrate in either marketing, finance, or consulting. Outside of class I am learning how to code, use Photoshop, and plan on taking some non-major graphic design classes.
From my major you can probably tell I have an issue with indecisiveness. This characteristic is also reflected in my sense of style. While I do not have a particular “style” per say, I do find myself reaching for classics such as L.L. Bean boots and tartan patterns most of the time. That’s not to say you won’t catch me rocking Converse and an olive green, bomber jacket. More often than not you will find me wearing a casual-chic outfit consisting of a comfortable top, leggings, and some accessories suitable for an Instagram.
As one of two girls in a family of 10, it took me quite a while to transition from “tomboy” to a somewhat normal girl who wears clothes that aren’t hand-me-down basketball shorts and a cut off  T-shirt–I cringe just thinking about it. Middle school was my first time experimenting with makeup and whatever the “hottest” trend of the time was. I also began wearing nail polish and my hair down, which was a shock for my father.
As I get older I have made it a goal of mine to maintain a chic and polished look at all times even for my 8:30 a.m. accounting classes. I can’t wait to share my looks with you this semester!
