Hi Fashionistas/os! This my first post as a Style Guru. I’m quite excited to share my story with you. My name is Chantisa Wuttipunruangchai. But you can call me Join, that’s my nickname. I know that some of you might feel surprised when you see my very long last name, but it’s actually a common one in my country, Thailand which is where I’m originally from. I was born in Bangkok, its capital city. I’m an only child who has always had a passion for fashion since I was a kid. I like dressing up myself and other people. So, I decided to follow my dream to be a fashion stylist. I moved to New York City to study fashion styling at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). I am living in Manhattan, New York. The city which is filled with vibrance and energy. The city that always inspires me to keep pursuing my dream. I absolutely love New York and this is where I belong.
While I’m writing this, it’s summertime in New York. I love summer, because you can do a lots of thing when it’s summer in New York. Today the weather was quite nice. It’s sunny but breezy. So, I went out with my friends to have some cocktails at a rooftop bar. I picked a houndstooth bandeau top with peplum, then matched it with black ripped skinny jeans from ASOS, also layered it with kimono-style satin coat from & Other Stories. I accessorized this look by wearing a black velvet choker that I made by myself, and my favorite shades from Gentle Monster. Finally, I finished the look by wearing black belt-styled flats from Zara.
