Hello there, this is Chelsea! I am so excited to be apart of the CollegeFashionista team this semester! I am from the DC Metropolitan Area, and I am a graduate student at LIM College pursing a Maters of Professional Studies in Fashion Marketing. Fashion has always been a passion of mine. From an early age I always knew I wanted to do something paramount in the industry.
I draw style inspirations from the ’60s and ’90s era. The majority of my inspirations stem from the stylish individuals and groups that are within my surroundings. My toughest style question is, if I should wear all-black for that day. I believe black can be worn at any time. Minimal dressing, black denim, leather, gold jewelry, and gray for a pop of color summarize my usual everyday style. For this look I continued with my minimal dressing, pairing a Zara gray knit sweater with my only pair of light denim, girlfriend jeans. I finished the look with my black leather jacket and combat boots, Sephora reddish pink lip, and mirrored shades. I hope you all enjoy the look as much as I do!
In addition to my passion for fashion, I enjoy photography and writing. I am a hobbyist photographer. During my free time I stroll around my neighborhood with my Nikon DSLR capturing everything beautiful from nature to architecture. Writing for my personal fashion blog, Fashionably Sound, allows me to be true to myself and express my thoughts and visions as it pertains to the definition of fashion and style.
