Whether I’m running through the streets of Manhattan or relaxing on a beach on Long Island, fashion always plays a huge role. Welcome to the life of an on-the-go student working multiple jobs, trying to find a way to look cute while racing to and fro.
My name is Christa Santulli and I am a sophomore studying journalism and new media at St. Joseph’s College, located in New York. I am more than ecstatic to be a new Style Guru for CollegeFashionista because it involves my absolute passions, writing and fashion.
For as long as I can remember, fashion has always been such an important part of my life. I view fashion as a way of expression, a way to free yourself and show others who you are without having to say a word. My style tends to be a combination of many different looks and trends. I can’t say I have one real way of dressing myself; I just love experimenting and trying out new looks.
I have gone through many phases and my wardrobe has become ever-changing (and ever-growing). Mainly, my clothing choices consist of neutral colors with a pop of gold or other colored accessories I add to the complete look. I think that colors, such as black or white, are great when it comes to clothing choices because they are easily paired with many different outfits to can create an effortless and chic look.
Although I do love mixing and matching different styles, I often find myself loving the whole “New York Street Style” type of look, which you can see in my current outfit. Pairing sleek, yet simple, pieces with a touch of edginess is my absolute favorite.
I look forward to starting my journey as a Style Guru and to continue sharing my passion for fashion through my upcoming articles, so be sure to check back for more and stay tuned.
