Hello everyone!
I am Christina Greiner and I am so excited to be back with another semester as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista. I am finishing up my senior year at the University of Iowa and I can’t believe how fast time has flown by! I am looking forward to sharing all of my favorite styles and upcoming trends with you guys. Fashion basically runs through my blood for as long as I can remember and I love getting to share my passion with all of you. Right now it’s been extremely cold where I’m from and I definitely have some winter blues, but that doesn’t mean fashion freezes for the weather and neither do I!
One thing I love to do with my everyday style is layer. I layer pretty much everything and getting to rock some super comfortable sweatshirts with some awesome jackets is one way to beat the cold weather. As I’ve said before, if I’m not comfortable in what I am wearing, I don’t always feel like myself so I have to feel good! Lately I’ve loved the more sporty look where I add sneakers with a lot of my outfits. They are so practical whether you’re headed to class or you’re out running errands. Luckily so many companies have been stepping up their sneaker game and I can’t get enough!
Another one of my favorite pieces is the bomber jacket. They are so versatile and with the all black look I think it adds the right pop of color to any outfit. Not to mention some can be really warm but not too heavy to wear when you are in and out of heated buildings all day. I usually prefer distressed denim when I do wear it because it always gives an outfit some sort of edge. To top it all off baseball hats have also become quite the staple for me too!
