Hey fellow Fashionistas! My name is Christina and I am heading into my second year at Iowa State University as an apparel merchandising major. Fashion is something I am very passionate about so I cannot wait to share my style and looks with everyone this summer. I have been obsessed with clothes and fashion ever since I was a little girl. I remember my closet being filled with the latest trends then like gauchos or matching Juicy Couture sweat suits. I never thought I would end up studying apparel merchandising in college. I love keeping up with the latest trends and my hobbies consist of going through fashion magazines and looking at the up and coming items for the next season. I am constantly putting together outfits in my head whether it’s items I own or items I saw online. I just recently started my own fashion blog which includes looks that I have created. I dream of becoming a buyer or personal stylist for major stores like Nordstrom or Saks on 5th Avenue.
I love fashion because it is a way someone can express themselves creatively. With that being said, I do not have a specific style; I just keep up with new trends and dress according to the season and weather, for example, dolphin shorts, which are light and cool for summer heat. I like to step out of my comfort zone and try styles I have never tried before. I love seeing the different trends throughout people my age. Some trends I am loving right now are these sandal block heels and mirrored aviator sunglasses.
