Hello, hello fashion people! It’s me, Christy, and I’m back! This will be my second semester having the privilege to be a CollegeFashionista Style Guru. Once a month you will get to hear from me about the latest fall fashion happening around Columbia College Chicago. I will be continuing as a junior there as a fashion business major and a public relations minor.
This semester I promise to add a little more variety to my chosen looks. I usually gravitate towards more simple, minimalistic fashion, but I feel something changing in me. I want to experiment more with trying new things. My new mantra is that every sidewalk is my runway. I’m going to make a statement this semester. This may just be the “new school year, new me” vibes talking, but I’m putting it out there anyways. So now I have to stick to it. It is going to be my personal challenge, and on that note, I encourage anyone who reads this to give themselves their own personal fashion challenge for the semester. I would love to hear about it.
Like my last bio, I will wrap it up with a quote from Anna Wintour to keep in mind for the semester: “If you can’t be better than your competition, just dress better.” May the fashion fun continue this semester, and may we all stay #RAD. Here’s to feeling hopeful for the fall semester. Let’s go out with a bang in 2015, or at least wearing a bangin’ outfit!
