Hello, world! My name is Clarissa and I am a senior at the University of San Francisco. This is my NINTH semester as a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista. It’s crazy how fast time flies when you’re having fun! My excitement to be part of the CollegeFashionista community has only grown stronger. My favorite part about writing for CollegeFashionista is I get to combine my love for journalism and photography with my interest in fashion and style trends.
Living in San Francisco means I’m surrounded by Fashionistas and Fashionistas with unique senses of style. I am thrilled to get to share my daily inspiration with my readers every month and maybe learn a few things along the way. I find inspiration in my city, scrolling through fashionable Instagram accounts and reading what other Style Gurus have posted. I only hope this semester with CollegeFashionista will give me great style advice. What I love about my style is I never get bored with it. Each day is a new opportunity to dress a different way. This semester, I will pay more attention to detail and focus on pattern, accessories and layering.
Florals always make me feel pretty. This dress I am wearing from Forever 21 is a perfect summer dress. I paired my dress with a basic cardigan that is the perfect length. The suede kitten heels I am wearing are casual enough for everyday wear. I love neutral colors, so of course my beige clutch was a go-to accessory.
I am SO looking forward to writing what’s trending in fashion this semester and I hope you are just as excited as I am.
